A security company in Hampshire has developed a new bio-security system which identifies people through the pattern of blood vessels in their finger.
Roberto Fiorentino, from CSS Security, said in the future the FastVein device could be used to access computers, cars and houses as well as being used in airport security.
BBC South Today's Chrissy Sturt went to take a look.
