Eastleigh man jailed for causing toddler Billie King's death
Billie was crossing the road with family members
A motorcyclist who killed a toddler while driving dangerously on a Hampshire road has been jailed for three years.
Billie King, three, was struck by the motorcycle while crossing the road in Hamble Lane in Bursledon on 1 March.
Stephen Moon, 38, of Sopwith Road, Eastleigh, pleaded guilty at Winchester Crown Court to causing death by dangerous driving.
Moon was also disqualified from driving for three years.
He must take an extended re-test before he would be allowed to drive again, the judge ruled.
Billie, who was crossing the road with her family, was taken to hospital but died shortly after arrival.
Her family nicknamed her Princess and said she was just beginning her life.
