Snake found abandoned in Hook car park
Two children have found a rare snake abandoned in a Hampshire car park.
The RSPCA is hoping to trace its owner after it was discovered dumped inside a smashed up vivarium in Bowling Green Drive, Hook, on Tuesday.
The Irian Jaya carpet python is native to Papua New Guinea and northern Australia. Most are tame and easy to handle and rarely bite.
RSPCA inspectors believe it may have been abandoned by an owner who could not afford to treat it.
