A trial date has been set in Greece for two men accused over the fatal stabbing of a man from Tadley, in Hampshire, who was on holiday with friends.

Robert Sebbage, 18, was killed on the Greek island Zante while four of his friends were injured in July 2011.

Two Greek men have been charged and will be tried on 3 September.

Robert's mother, Rhian Sebbage, said the family still needed to raise £33,000 of the estimated £60,000 legal and travel costs.

She said trying to raise the extra funds had been "mentally exhausting on top of all that has happened".

The family have hired an English-speaking Greek solicitor who has told them what to expect from the Greek law courts.

Mr Sebbage and four of his friends were stabbed at the Laganas resort on Zante in July.

Shortly after the stabbing, a 21-year-old man was charged with murder. A 25-year-old man was also charged as an accomplice.
