Pearl Jam to headline Isle of Wight Festival

Isle of Wight Festival The Isle of Wight Festival will take place on 22-24 June 2012

Pearl Jam have been announced as headliners at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2012.

The US rockers are Saturday's top billing, with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers headlining Friday and Bruce Springsteen on Sunday.

Elbow, Biffy Clyro, Madness, Example, Noah and the Whale and Noel Gallagher also play at the event in June.

The date for the event next year has been moved to avoid a clash with the Diamond Jubilee and half-term holidays.

The three-day festival has been moved to 22-24 June.
