Fire at battery recycling plant at Lasham near Basingstoke
A major fire broke out at a battery recycling plant in Lasham, near Basingstoke in Hampshire.
About 300 tonnes of alkaline zinc chloride batteries and metal oxides were thought to have been involved in the fire which sent plumes of black smoke high into the air.
There are no reports of injuries.
Steve Langfield captured images of the early stages of the fire, with the sounds of explosions audible.
