CCTV released after petrol thefts

CCTV images have been released of a man police want to speak to about a series of petrol thefts.

Police said a man driving a dark red Lexus has driven off without paying for fuel in Hampshire and Berkshire on seven occasions during the past year.

Hampshire police said false number plates were used on the car, which was filled up at forecourts in Tadley, Basingstoke, Newbury and the A34.

The total value of the fuel stolen is more than £500, officers said.
