Appeal over spate of damaged cars on Isle of Wight

Vandals damaged about 30 vehicles parked outside homes on the Isle of Wight.

Windscreens and side windows were broken and bodywork was scratched sometime between Sunday evening and Monday morning.

Hampshire police said the vehicles were parked in New Road, The Mall and Wrax Road in Brading, near Sandown.

Insp Bill Pinnell said he believed more motorists could have been affected and urged them to come forward.
