'Terror writer' wins right to change plea

A man who admitted producing a digital handbook for terrorists has won the right to change his plea to not guilty.

Terrance Brown, 46, from Portsmouth, had originally pleaded guilty at Winchester Crown Court to seven counts under the Terrorism Act.

However a judge at the Old Bailey ruled he would be allowed to withdraw that plea.

Mr Brown, of Whitworth Road in Copnor, will now face a trial at a date yet to be set.
