Lymington in Hampshire famously rejected Argos and now it looks like it's seen off Wetherspoons too.

The pub chain's plans to open a watering hole just yards from an ancient church have been thrown out by the Council because of local fears it would change the face of the town centre and drive smaller pubs and eateries out of business.

BBC Breakfast's Graham Satchell spoke to Councillor Maureen Holding and Terry Palfrey, who owns the building Wetherspoons wants to occupy.
