Eunice Spry's adopted daughter 'cannot see her again'

3 July 2014 Last updated at 10:42 BST

A woman from Gloucestershire has said she will do all she can to stop the mother who abused her for 20 years being housed nearby.

Victoria Spry was mentally and physically tortured by her adoptive mother, Eunice Spry, from when she was just a baby.

She is due to be released from prison and, according to Ms Spry, housed nearby.

The Ministry of Justice said: "Serious offenders released on licence are subject to strict conditions and controls including restrictions on their movements.

"If they fail to comply with these conditions they can be immediately returned to prison."

Laura Jones reports.
