WM Active in court over Cotswold Country Park death

A company which runs a water park in Gloucestershire where a teenager drowned has appeared in court charged with health and safety offences.

Kajil Devi from London died after slipping under water at Cotswold Country Park and Beach in 2010.

The prosecution was brought by Cotswold District Council which says WM Active failed to comply with safety rules.

The company did not enter a plea at the hearing at Cheltenham Magistrates Court.

The case has been committed to Gloucester Crown Court on 11 April.
