Woman dies in four-car crash near Cirencester

An elderly woman has been killed in a crash involving four cars on an A-road in the Cotswolds near Cirencester.

The A433 was shut for a time by the emergency services, including an air ambulance, which were called to the road near the Thames Head Inn at 13:00 GMT.

No other motorists were seriously injured in the crash.

Gloucestershire Police said the dead woman's next of kin are yet to be informed.
