Gloucester stabbing suspect charged with murder

A flat on Nettleton Road, Gloucester Two men were found at a Nettleton Road flat with stab wounds

A man has been charged with murder after two men were stabbed and one of them died a week later.

Anthony Keith Poole, 51, of Melbourne Street East, Gloucester, also faces two counts of wounding with intent.

The men were found with stab wounds in Nettleton Road on 13 January and Martin Stokes, 30, later died in hospital.

A Gloucestershire Police spokeswoman said following his death they added the extra charge. Mr Poole will appear at Bristol Crown Court on 29 April.
