Richard Miles 1993 death: No further action on man
A suspect arrested over the death of a Gloucestershire man found with a knife in his chest more than 20 years ago will face no further police action.
Richard Miles, 29, from Stonehouse, was found stabbed in his garden in 1993.
Gloucestershire Police arrested three men in November after new information came to light.
Two of them were later cleared, and now a 53-year-old from Quedgeley who was arrested on suspicion of murder has had his bail cancelled by police.
At the original inquest into the death, the coroner recorded an open verdict due to a lack of evidence.
Mr Miles' body had been found by his mother on 10 March 1993.
A police spokesman said the inquiry would now be closed unless any fresh information comes to light.
