Lance Hepworth charged after Katie Clutterbuck road death

A man has been charged with causing death by driving without due care and attention after a 19-year-old woman was knocked down in Cheltenham.

Lance Hepworth, 67, of Penrith Close in the town has been granted bail, Gloucestershire police said.

Katie Clutterbuck died in Frenchay Hospital, Bristol, following the collision on Bath Road at about 12:40 GMT on Sunday, 15 September.

Mr Hepworth is due to appear at Stroud Magistrates' Court on Monday 6 January.
