Cheltenham stabbing: Man arrested after fight in town

A man has been airlifted to hospital after being stabbed in Cheltenham and a second man has been arrested in connection with the attack.

Police were called to a report of fighting outside a property in Thames Road, in the Whaddon area, on Tuesday afternoon.

The man, believed to be 26 years old, was found with stab wounds and other injuries.

A 22-year-old is being held in custody for further questioning by detectives.
