Pupils at a Gloucester school tested for TB

Pupils at a secondary school in Gloucester have been screened for tuberculosis after a pupil was treated for the disease.

Half the children in year eight at St Peter's High School have had blood blood tests.

Public Health England said the risk of the disease spreading was low because TB was difficult to catch - the tests were offered as a precaution.

One child, who has not been named, has since fully recovered from the disease.
