Cheltenham woman injured in A48 crash dies in hospital

An 83-year-old woman has died two days after being injured in a car crash in Minsterworth, Gloucestershire.

The woman from Cheltenham was seriously injured when her car collided with another vehicle on the A48 on Saturday at about 15:00 GMT.

The woman was taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, but died earlier this morning.

The occupants of the other car were treated for minor injuries at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.

Gloucestershire Police want to speak to anyone who saw the crash which involved a green Daewoo Lanos and a grey Volkswagen Golf.
