Bishops Cleeve housing plans court hearing to take place
The village of Bishops Cleeve lies at the foot of Cleeve Hill
A High Court hearing will decide whether 1,000 homes can be built near Bishops Cleeve in Gloucestershire.
Plans for two developments, at Homelands Farm and at Cleevelands, were approved by a planning inspector after an appeal by the developer in July.
The plans had originally been rejected by Tewkesbury Borough Council.
The authority's legal challenge is being heard at the High Court in Birmingham with the case concluding on Wednesday.
It is not yet known when the judgement will be given.
