A 50-year-old woman who was killed in a Boxing Day crash in Cirencester has been named by police.

Karen Hartshorn, from South Cerney, was driving on the A419 near the Royal Agricultural College when her Citroen Saxo collided with another vehicle.

Police were called shortly after 11:00 GMT and the Stroud Road was shut while an investigation took place.

Two people travelling in the other vehicle were taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
