Woman dies in Cotswolds car crash

A woman has died in a car crash in the Cotswolds.

Gloucestershire Police said it happened at about 23:15 BST on Saturday on the A436 between Andoversford and Bourton-on-the-Water.

The woman, in her 30s, was driving a blue Suzuki Vitara which left the road and hit a tree. No other vehicle was involved.

The road was closed for about six hours while police investigated the crash scene.
