Badger culls likely to go ahead in west Gloucestershire and west Somerset

A High Court challenge to a proposed cull of badgers in the West Country has been rejected.

A judge has ruled the pilot schemes in west Gloucestershire and west Somerset can go ahead.

The government has said it will help combat bovine tuberculosis, which costs the UK £100m per year.

The Badger Trust believes a cull would be unscientific.
