Gloucestershire cycle altercation couple sought by police

Police want to speak to those involved in the incident

Footage of a woman and a cyclist involved in an altercation on a country lane in Gloucestershire has been released by police.

Officers say they have tried and failed to identify either of the people shown in the video and are now turning to the public for their help.

It happened on the B4425 at Ampney Coln near Bibury on 28 January.

The footage was taken by a motorist driving behind the couple and posted on YouTube, where it was found by police.

A police spokesperson said officers were investigating a possible connection to members of a hunt or hunt supporters and anti-hunt protesters.

"There are potential offences of assault captured in this video and therefore it is important that police look into this and speak to those involved," the spokesperson added.
