Father Christmas has parachuted in to South Cerney, Gloucestershire, to visit the children of soldiers who are posted abroad.

Santa and his entourage dropped in on the youngsters at the Duke of Gloucester Barracks, home of 29 Regiment The Royal Logistic Corps, where they handed out presents.

The regiment will have over 70 personnel serving abroad this Christmas, most being stationed in Afghanistan.
