Help

Some 3,000 people attended the Battle of Britain Airshow 2011 at Cotswold Airport near the village of Kemble, Gloucestershire.

A number of planes took to the skies including two Spitfires and a Lancaster bomber.

Organisers wanted to create a tribute to all those who fought during World War II.

The show also commemorated the 75th anniversary of the first flight of the Spitfire.

Other performers at the event included the Tiger Nine flying display team and the South Cerney-based Renegades parachute team.
