Gloucestershire County Council's cabinet decision to cut library services is to be reviewed.

Liberal Democrat councillors say they decided to call-in the decision for answers about how and why it was made.

Last week, the Conservative-controlled authority's cabinet approved plans to save £114m over four years.

The proposals would see 1,000 job cuts, and 22 youth centres and 10 libraries at risk of closure.

The budget will be set at a full council meeting on 16 February.
