Man injured in Westbury-on-Severn bull attack

A man suffered a suspected head injury after he was attacked by a bull in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.

A spokesman from Great Western Ambulance Service said the animal had to be isolated before paramedics could get to the man.

The incident happened at a farm near Westbury-on-Severn at about 1700 BST on Friday.

The spokesman said the victim, thought to be in his 50s, was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital, near Bristol.
