Radio Caroline fans mark 50 years since its launch

Pirate radio fans have been marking the launch of Radio Caroline which began broadcasting off the Essex coast exactly 50 years ago.

It was a moment in radio which changed the course of pop - and broadcasting.

Some of the pirate DJs were in Walton-on-the-Naze for the celebrations to mark the half-centenary of Britain's first commercial radio station. Mike Liggins joined them.
