30 January 2014 Last updated at 12:32 GMT

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were at the launch of celebrations to mark the 450th anniversary of Shakespeare's birth.

Crowds waited for hours in the rain to greet the royal couple on their visit to the Palace Theatre in Westcliffe-on-Sea in Essex.

They were there to see a performance by 30 school children from six schools chosen for the Shakespeare Schools Festival.
