Essex fire crew rescues man from paper roll at industrial estate

A man in his 40s suffered life-threatening injuries when he was crushed by a large roll of paper.

The accident happened at about 11:00 BST at the Childerditch Industrial Park in Brentwood.

The man, who was rescued by paramedics and firefighters, suffered multiple injuries.

He was airlifted to Victoria Park before he was transferred to the major trauma centre at the Royal London Hospital.
