Clipper Race: Yachts leave Southend to race round the world

A fleet of yachts has set sail from Essex in a race around the world.

The boats, crewed by amateurs, are taking part in the 2013 Clipper Race.

The sailing legend Sir Robin Knox-Johnston was among those seeing them off from Southend Pier. The next stop is Brazil.
