Horse rescued by firefighters from Epping swimming pool

A horse has been rescued by firefighters after it fell into a swimming pool.

The animal became stuck at about 08:30 BST at a house in Thornwood, near Epping.

Three crews and a dedicated animal rescue unit drained away the water using a pump and pulled the horse to safety.

The horse was freed by 10:30. It is unclear how the horse ended up in the swimming pool.
