Thomas Brittain Colchester death: Boy arrested by police

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender after a musician was found dead in Essex.

Thomas Brittain, 26, died at a friend's flat in Colchester in March.

Two men, aged 18 and 19, have been charged with his murder and will appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on 13 May.

The boy, who gave no address when arrested by police in Paternoster Road, Walton, during the early hours of the morning, has been bailed until 30 May.

Mr Brittain, who was also a music producer and known as Twister, was stabbed on Parkside Quarter during the early hours of 9 March.
