Essex University student's 15,000 photo time lapse project

Student Morten Rustad's message to his university professors was simple: "I think you will like it".

And they did. The first year business management student spent five months on a time-lapse sequence of scenes at the University of Essex.

The video is the result of 15,000 separate images woven together and set to music.

A university spokeswoman said: "The film is absolutely fantastic and the response has been extraordinary."
