Police want to talk to Jack Hummerstone in connection with the death
Police searching for two men they want to speak to over the death of a musician who was stabbed in his Essex flat have arrested a 19-year-old.
Detectives wanted to talk to Jack Hummerstone, 18, of London, and another man in connection with the death of Tom Brittain, 26, on Saturday.
He was found in the property in Parkside Quarter, Colchester.
Police arrested a 19-year-old from Frinton in the afternoon and he is in police custody awaiting interview.
Police are continuing to search for Mr Hummerstone and are asking anyone with information on his current whereabouts to contact Essex Police.
Members of the public are advised not to approach him.
Det Ch Insp Mark Hall, who is leading the murder inquiry, said: "The investigation is progressing. We have a number of leads that are being actively followed up.
"Items recovered at the scene have been sent for forensic examination, however searches remain on-going."
Mr Brittain's family said he was as a songwriter and music producer, also known as Twister.
