Jay Whiston death: Arrests in Colchester house party probe
Four people have been arrested over the death and later bailed
Four people have been arrested in connection with the death of a teenager in Essex.
Jay Whiston was stabbed outside a house party in Marlowe Way, Colchester, on 8 September.
The 17-year-old from Aster Close in Clacton died a short time later in hospital from a stab wound.
Two men, aged 18 and 51, a 42-year-old woman and a girl, 17, have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
It is understood the girl is from Clacton and the other three from the Colchester area.
They are being questioned by detectives at a police station in north Essex.
Five people from Colchester remain on police bail until 22 November.
