Chelmsford Urim Rama killing: Man on affray charge

A 28-year-old man has been charged with affray in connection with the death of a man who was attacked in Chelmsford.

Urim Rama, 27, was assaulted in Duke Street on 19 August and died in hospital the next day.

Essex Police said a man from Chelmsford had been charged with affray and a public order offence and would appear before town magistrates on 28 November.

Jamie Waters, 29, of Canvey Island, has admitted the manslaughter of Mr Rama.

He is due to be sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court this month.
