David Royle search: Body found in Clacton by police

Police searching in Clacton Police had been searching for David Royle since Friday.

Police searching for a patient who went missing from Clacton Hospital have found a body.

Police have been searching for David Royle since the 66-year-old went missing in the Boley Drive area of Clacton on Friday.

At about 12:00 BST, a body was found by police off Holland Haven.

Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the man. Formal identification will take place in the next few days.
