Motorcycle couple in fatal crash in south Essex
A motorcycle rider and his passenger have been killed after colliding with a tractor on a road in south Essex.
A man was arrested at the scene on Lower Burnham Road at North Fambridge near South Woodham Ferrers.
The two people on a Yamaha motorcycle were a man believed to be aged 18 and a girl of 17, both from the local area, police said.
The arrested man is being held on suspicion of causing death while uninsured.
Lower Burnham Road remains closed until later.
