Four men charged with manslaughter over a fatal fight outside an Essex nightclub have been acquitted.

Reece Lamude, 37, from Rayleigh, was fatally injured near Churchill's Bar in Tylers Avenue, Southend, in June 2011.

Mr Lamude, who had been celebrating a friend's birthday, died in hospital after sustaining neck injuries.

The four-week trial of four men, aged 42, 38, 32 and 31, ended at Chelmsford Crown Court on Wednesday with acquittal of all the charges against them.
