Jay Whiston's mother in tribute after party stabbing
A mother has paid tribute to her teenage son who died after he was stabbed at a party in Essex.
Jay Whiston, 17, an A-level student from the Clacton area, was fatally injured in Marlowe Way, Colchester, on Saturday night.
Caroline Shearer said her son was gentle and caring.
The party had been gate-crashed after details were posted on the internet.
