Ten men arrested in Chelmsford on suspicion of murder

Ten men from Essex have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 39-year-old man at a private party in Chelmsford on Sunday.

The man was found in the back garden of a house in London Road. A post-mortem examination has given the preliminary result that he died of head injuries.

The arrested men, aged between 23 and 35, remain in custody for questioning.

Police want to speak to guests who were at the party being held opposite the V Festival in Hylands Park.

The man's next of kin have been informed.
