A man has been charged with raping an 18-year-old woman in Essex.
The woman was walking through the Cranes Farm Road underpass in Basildon, when she was grabbed and then raped by a man in the early hours of 14 May.
Curtis Pizzey, 23, of Barnard Close, Basildon, who was arrested Friday morning, has been charged with rape.
He was detained in custody to appear at Southend Magistrates' Court later, an Essex Police spokesman said.
