Concrete block road attack victim's life ruined

A woman who was seriously injured when a concrete block was dropped on to the car her husband was driving says her life has been ruined.

Carol Manley, 57, suffered serious facial injuries when a 'bucket-sized' concrete block was dropped onto the car in which she was a passenger on 1 December 2011.

She talked to Richard Martin after a new incident on the A12 near Colchester in Essex where a group of children threw a brick off a footbridge. The windscreen of the vehicle was smashed but the driver was uninjured.
