East Lulworth thatched cottage catches fire

A blaze has broken out at a thatched house and barn in Dorset.

About 70 firefighters took four hours to extinguish the fire at the buildings on Mount Pleasant, East Lulworth, which started at about 16:00 BST on Wednesday.

Fire crews from areas including Poole, Hamworthy, Weymouth, Wareham and Swanage attended the scene.

Dorset Fire Service urged people to stay away from the area during the fire.
