Motorcyclist dies in Corfe Mullen night crash

A motorcyclist died when he crashed after losing control of his bike in Dorset.

The 31-year-old was riding his Yamaha motorcycle on the A31 near Corfe Mullen when he lost control.

Dorset Police said the rider, who lived locally, was fatally injured when he fell from his machine. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the bike around the time of the crash at 00:30 BST to get in touch.

The man's family has been informed.
