Boscombe's Sovereign Centre stabbing: Man charged

A man has been charged after a man was stabbed at a shopping centre in Bournemouth.

The attack happened near the 99p shop at the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe on Thursday afternoon.

The shopping centre was evacuated and the victim was taken to hospital after suffering a stab wound, which was not thought to be life-threatening.

A 45-year-old man, from Bournemouth, is charged with causing GBH with intent, and possession of an offensive weapon.
