Man stabbed at the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe

A man has been stabbed at a shopping centre in Bournemouth.

Police were called to the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe at about 13:30 BST after the attack near the 99p shop.

A man in his 40s has been arrested and is being questioned by officers. The shopping centre was evacuated and the scene was cordoned off.

The victim suffered one stab wound, which was not thought to be life-threatening, police said. He was taken to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
