Weymouth man found stabbed in Westmacott Road

A man was stabbed in the street in Weymouth, police said.

Officers were called to Westmacott Road at 01:00 BST and found a man had been assaulted.

A man was found with minor injuries and was treated by paramedics who were also called to the scene.

A Dorset Police spokeswoman said: "The male received minor injuries during the assault. Officers have detained two males who are helping with their enquiries."
